While we may be a smaller department, the dedication and commitment of our officers are second to none. We take immense pride in serving our community with the utmost professionalism and care. Our goal is to make Springfield a safer and more secure place for all its residents. We address all calls from the most minor to the most serious in nature. Trespassing calls are as important to us as drug calls.  We do not discriminate between calls…we tackle both just the same, never ignoring one for the other.
